Air China is offering an interesting solution to visit Taiwan. Open-jaw flights from Europe to Taipei are now available already for €364 or £278! To reach the cheapest fare available you have to look for departures ex Stockholm, Copenhagen or Oslo. Althought it might seems a bit off standard patch the truth is that all these cities are well connected with other European cities with low-cost airline Norwegian. (Awarded by Skytrax as best low-cost carrier in Europe). Your return flight has to be than back to London, Paris, Milan or Germany (Munich, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf).
If you can take the advantage of longer layover in China (Beijing) you have also great opportunity to visit another city during your trip in Asia. You can get free transit visa up to 72h upon arrival to Beijing. In case of interest please look for travel dates within 1st of September 2015 and 26th of March 2016. (based on date of your outbound flight to Taiwan, except travel dates around Christmas holidays). Max stay 6 months.
