They are currently allowing to book open jaw tickets between Brussels or Italy and returning back to UK (London, Manchester, Edinburgh) already for £438/€602. Another solution are return flights with 5-star Cathay Pacific. The cheapest ticket form Germany to Melbourne, Sydney or Perth are available already from €769. Both airlines belongs to top ranked airlines in the world.
The travel options and restrictions vary based on chosen routing and airline. Generally you should be able to find the cheapest flights till June and September till November 2015.
